Welcome to the second annual Postcard Project Cookie Swap--an event for everyone who would like to spread joy and support the US Postal Service by participating in a nation-wide* cookie swap. Please read this page carefully before signing up to prevent possible errors and confusion.
Here's how the swap works: You will be matched to three other participants, and you will mail each one a dozen cookies, along with your recipe(s) and a card or personal note. In return, you will receive a dozen cookies from each of your matches. You can mail any kind of cookies you wish, as long as they are homemade. You can mail all the same kind or many kinds--as long as you send twelve cookies to each match, the type and variety is totally up to you.
Sign Up Deadline: Friday, November 9
Receive Matches: Monday, November 12
Shipment Deadline: Wednesday, December 5
*This cookie swap is open to participants worldwide, however, if there are not enough sign-ups from your country, it will not be included in the swap. You will receive an email from me by Sunday, November 11, to let you know if your country will be included in the swap this year.*
If you would like to sign up to participate, please fill out all fields below. After submitting this form, be sure to click the link in your email to confirm your subscription. You WILL NOT be included in the swap if you do not confirm your subscription. I will be using this list to send you updates and reminders throughout the event. This will also ensure you're on the list to be contacted for next year's swap.
If you have dietary restrictions or allergies (vegan, gluten-free, etc.), be sure to note them in the appropriate field so you can be matched to another person with restrictions. Please be aware that the people you are matched to may not have the same restrictions.
Please do not sign up if you are not 100% certain that you will be able to mail your cookies. I have a zero tolerance policy for those who don't play fair, and you will be blocked from future cookie swaps if you do not follow through, no excuses.
This is a fun way to spread joy and support the US Postal Service during the holiday season, and it has many sweet returns. Let's get this party started!
